Adding topics into a Gomo course

You can add a topic to a Gomo course by selecting Actions > Add new topic in the Course Structure screen

Once you create a new topic it will appear below the main course structure. We refer to this as an orphaned topic as it is not currently linked to the rest of the course

Linking topics using Menu Buttons

If your course contains a Menu topic then you can use Menu Buttons to link to other topics in the course. Each Menu Button has an action linked to it.

The action will link the button to a topic

To add a new Menu Button to the screen select ASSETS > Presentation > Menu Button and drag the asset onto the screen. Left-click on the new Menu Button to bring up the properties field. You can then rename the Menu Button label & add an Action

Set the action to link to the new topic & save the change in the Editor

Refresh your web browser in the Course Structure screen. The new topic will then be linked to the rest of the course

Linking standard topics to each other
